Covino & Rich take over The Dan Patrick Show, and they react to former MLB slugger David Justice getting loose on the “All the Smoke” podcast where spit the truth about his marriage to Halle Berry and the movie “Moneyball.” They aren’t pleased that Justice delivered a dose of reality and shattered their illusions when he could have let them continue to blissfully believe the cool stories.
Rich Davis: “(David Justice) talks about the movie ‘Money Ball,’ and how nothing in the movie is factual. It’s 100% false, nothing happened…”
Steve Covino: “I mean, didn’t you realize that when they had Billy Beane as Brad Pitt? I mean, he’s a handsome guy but he’s no Brad Pitt.”
Rich: “My thought is this, a lot of times, if you have the ability to shut down a great, legendary story, I never understand the people that take that opportunity and go, ‘OK, I’ll do it!’ Like, nothing bothers me more…When you have those moments to sort of, you know, put out the flames of a cool, fiery story, it bothers me!”
