The UCONN Huskies obliterated Sand Diego State in record fashion last night, eliminating them from the NCAA Tournament and setting a record for the largest margin of victory in a Sweet Sixteen game. But Dan warns us to remember that there’s no such thing as a sure thing, something we have all seen in the past. While they do look unbeatable, we’ve certainly seen dominant teams get knocked off their pedestals before, so don’t get too confident.
Dan Patrick: “We have to be careful when we say the following, and a lot of people have said the following: UCONN can’t be beat. Just like the Patriots, when they had Randy Moss, when they were undefeated and they faced the Giants in the Super Bowl: they can’t be beat. Everybody can be beat."
