It's very likely that the last attempt of Adam Vinatieri's career will have been a blocked kick-six in a loss to Tennessee. He'll undergo season-ending knee surgery and head to injured reserve.
It's a sad ending to a Hall of Fame career and fourteen terrific seasons with the Colts. While a disastrous 2019 is a disappointing final chapter to his story, Vinatieri will get his bust in Canton and be remembered far more for his successes than failures.
The Colts will continue with Chase McLaughlin for the rest of 2019, who if effective, may end up being their kicker in 2020.
