Ryan Vaughn Talks NFL Draft, B1G Title Game Future

Is there a chance the Big Ten Football Championship Game will leave Indianapolis? Would our city be interested in hosting the NFL Draft in the 2020s? Indiana Sports Corp President Ryan Vaughn did his best to answer those questions during his visit on the show the other day. Tonight is the ninth B1G Title Game - all held in Indianapolis - but the current contract only runs through 2021. Vaughn admitted that with an open bid process looming, there's a chance that Indy could lose the game temporarily to another Big Ten indoor venue, like Detroit or Minneapolis (3:09).

Later in our conversation, we broached the topic of hosting the NFL Draft, which Vaughn said the city is already exploring. Last year's draft drew a reported crowd of over 600,000, although Query disputes that number (8:53).
