The Colts margin for error is zero heading into the final five weeks of the season, and they were unfortunately dealt another tough blow with the loss of Eric Ebron. Reports are that the tight end is heading to injured reserve, which would bring his season to an end:
Ebron had a disappointing follow-up to his breakthrough, Pro Bowl season with the Colts last year. Ebron finishes with just 31 catches for 375 yards and three touchdowns, while only seeing 42% of the Colts' snaps this season.
You have to wonder if the free agent to-be has played his last game in a Colts uniform. He's just 26 years old, is a popular locker room figure, and had shown himself to be a Red Zone weapon, but has been plagued by drops and inconsistency throughout his six-season career.
