The Latest on Marlon Mack's Fractured Hand

Marlon Mack's quietly terrific season continued yesterday with a 100+ yard performance (on just 14 carries), but the third-year running back left the win over the Jaguars with a fractured hand.

According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Mack will see specialists this week to judge the severity of the injury and determine a timetable for his return:

Obviously, with this being a short week, you'd have to assume Mack won't be available Thursday night in Houston. The good news? The Colts have three capable running backs right behind him, who all have gotten major reps this season. Nyheim Hines, who has the least amount of rushing yards (77), has had the most offensive snaps. Jordan Wilkins has made the most of his 27 carries (6.1 ypc) and Jonathan Williams had a breakout, 116-yard performance yesterday against Jacksonville.

If TY Hilton and Devin Funchess return, the Colts could get their passing attack back up to speed, which is something they utilized in their Week 7 win over the Texans.
