WATCH: Pacers Lose in OT on Garbage Foul Call

Free throw disparity doesn't always paint the whole picture - the more aggressive team gets rewarded with more trips to the charity stripe, and Charlotte appeared to be that last night. However, you have to go back four seasons to find a free throw disparity as large as the 42-7 margin between Charlotte and Indiana in last the Hornets' 122-120 win, a margin which Nate McMillan claimed he had never seen before.

The defeat was capped on this ridiculous call in the final seconds on JaKarr Sampson:

The Pacers players were surprised by the call, but no one would go as far as to criticize it. TJ Warren came closer than anyone else by calling it "questionable" and McMillan said he would've challenged it had the Pacers had a timeout left.

Regardless, the loss snapped a three-game losing streak and puts the Pacers in a tough spot in the second night of a back-to-back tomorrow against Washington.
