TY Hilton has four touchdowns in three games and is on pace for another huge year, but a nagging quad injury could zap some of that positive momentum.
After a big first half against the Falcons, the Colts star wide receiver left the game at halftime and didn't return due to a quad injury. Head coach Frank Reich said after the game that it was a re-aggravation of the issue that limited him in practice all week:
The good news? Hilton has played hurt a lot in his career. He had a myriad of injuries last season, and ended up missing their loss in New England, but played through that to produce one of his best seasons as a pro (76 catches, 1,270 yards, 6 TD). In fact, despite consistently appearing on the Colts' injury report, Hilton has only missed four total games in his last five seasons combined.
Here's hoping that he can fight through this one, because he and Jacoby Brissett seem to have already built a strong rapport.
