Who is Amida Brimah?

So, as it turns out, Kevin Pritchard isn't done collecting big men.

The latest addition to the Pacers' frontcourt is Amida Brimah who agreed to terms on a one-year deal, with a partial guarantee, yesterday with Indiana:

The Ghanaian center was a freshman on UConn's 2014 National Championship team. He started over 100 games in Storrs, but since going undrafted in 2017, has yet to appear in an actual NBA game. Brimah kicked around the Spurs' G-League squad for two separate stints and has spent time with the Bulls, Spurs, and Nets Summer League teams.

Already at 25 years old, you'd have to assume there's limited upside there, but Brimah has shown himself to be a great defender on the college (2015 AAC Defensive Player of the Year) and G-League (2018 All-Defensive Team selection) levels. He'll almost certainly start in Fort Wayne, with a chance to nab the Pacers' second and final two-way contract deal somewhere in the future.

The Pacers still have one open roster spot.
