One of the Pacers’ biggest free agency questions was given some clarity tonight thanks to a shocking decision: Darren Collison’s retirement.
The 31-year old announced he’s laced them up for the last time.
Collison, who had two stints with the Pacers, was still playing at a high level and due a nice payday (eight figures, likely) in free agency, but decided to walk away.
With Aaron Holiday not quite ready to start and Cory Joseph likely on his way elsewhere, Indiana will have to search for a replacement.
