Do the Pacers have their eyes set on a new point guard... and perhaps an improved draft slot? Reports are they're looking at free-agent-to-be Ricky Rubio and moving into the Draft Lottery on Thursday:
O'Connor's report backs up the rumors of Indiana sniffing around New Orleans' newly-acquired #4 pick from the Anthony Davis trade. As for Rubio, he's never become the star some thought he could be when he was taken several picks before Steph Curry in 2009, but he's been rock-solid for a decade. He would make sense as an immediate plug-and-play starter for a Pacers team that is still waiting on Aaron Holiday to be ready to take the reins at point guard.
