If you were hoping the Colts would swoop in and sign Gerald McCoy, it's still possible... but it doesn't seem likely.
The former All-Pro is visiting the Browns today, who have long been considered the favorites to land him, and you'd have to assume he wouldn't leave without a big contract offer:
If he slips out of Cleveland, a number of teams are lined up behind them. Reports are that the Bengals, Ravens, and Panthers are also firmly in the mix:
Where does this leave the Colts? Well, they were/are interested, but it doesn't appear that they're going to be super aggressive in landing him. Chris Ballard may like what he has along the D-Line, but McCoy is a perfect scheme fit, great locker room guy, and still should have a little gas left in the tank at 31 years old.
