Let's preface with this: Draft grades need to be taken with a major grain of salt. Don't forget that Indy's Darius Leonard pick was widely panned a year ago, and he ended up being the league's Defensive Rookie of the Year. That said, it's still nice to get an A from Mel Kiper!
The Colts went after a lot of their need positions - edge/LB/DE, wide receiver, and defensive back - and took shots on a lot of high-ceiling prospects like Ben Banogu and Bobby Okereke.
Obviously, we'll have to wait a few years to see how this shakes out, but Chris Ballard deserves the benefit of the doubt for his home run 2018 class.
