34th pick: CB Rock Ya-Sin, Temple
There was a lot of speculation that the Colts would trade down again, but they got the corner they wanted in Rock Ya-Sin. Rock, which is just just a nickname (his real name is Abdurrahman), only played one season at Temple after transferring from FCS Presbyterian and didn't even start playing football until he was a junior in high school. Chris Ballard said a really strong Senior Bowl performance is what sold them on the young cornerback.
49th pick: LB/Edge Ben Banogu, TCU
The Colts did trade down from 46 to 49, but were able to snag a rusher in Ben Banogu. Even though he was technically an end at TCU, the Colts project him as more of an outside linebacker, although he could be a hybrid. The two-time All-Big XII pick is a freak athlete with elite-level speed for his position.
59th pick: WR Parris Campbell, Ohio State
Speaking of speed, Campbell is one of the fastest prospects in the draft. The former Buckeye standout ran a 4.31 40, which is something Frank Reich gushed about several times. Although he isn't big, it'll be fun to see what Reich and Nick Sirianni come up with for a guy who can obviously be a weapon.
89th pick: LB Bobby Okereke, Stanford
Darius Leonard Part II? An instant comparison to an All-Pro and DROY is probably unfair for Okereke, but that's who a lot of draftniks linked him to. Oh, and he sounds a lot like a different Colts player who also came out of Stanford...
