When Romeo Langford declared for Indiana a year ago, there was a celebration among Hoosiers fans. However, after a mediocre season for the team and just an OK season for him individually, his IU career will end without much fanfare.
Langford is heading to the NBA Draft:
The blue-chipper out of New Albany had good numbers - 16.5 points per game on 45% shooting - but things crashed and burned for the Hoosiers in January and never really recovered. However, there was an interesting note in there by Givony about a thumb injury that "hampered him all season".
While Langford is regarded as a sure-fire first round pick in June, feelings about his one year in Bloomington are mixed (at best).
