NFL free agency has quieted to a whisper, and organized team activities are just days from beginning, but the Colts are still making some moves.
Yesterday, Indianapolis added safety Derrick Kindred off of waivers from the Browns:
Originally a fourth-round pick by the Browns in 2016, Kindred played extensively in Cleveland, appearing in all sixteen games last season and started seventeen games in his three-year tenure with the Browns.
He had a below-average season according to Pro Football Focus' grades, but Kindred is just 25 years old and adds a veteran body to a safety group that has been riddled with injuries (Hooker, Geathers, Farley) over the past two years.
