If you were hoping to avoid the July heat with the Brickyard 400's recent move to September, you're about to be cooking again.
Reports are that the once massive event on the NASCAR schedule is moving back to July:
Personally, I think having track activity at IMS for Memorial Day Weekend and Fourth of July Weekend is pretty cool.
While the Brickyard 400 will never regain the prestige and novelty it had in the inaugural years of the 1990s, I do believe the event has stabilized itself and racing in Indy still holds meaning to many drivers.
