Will Romeo Langford be on the court to help the Hoosiers get to New York City tonight? We're only hours away from tonight's NIT Quarterfinals matchup with Wichita State, but there's been no word yet from Indiana.
Langford has missed the last two NIT games with a back injury, but there's been some speculation that this isn't a bad injury (or, perhaps, not an injury at all) and Romeo is merely protecting himself for his inevitable jump this Spring into the NBA Draft.
For whatever it's worth, Indiana hasn't seemed to miss him. The Hoosiers exploded in the second half in an opening round win over Saint Francis and were able to hold off a solid Arkansas team at home on Saturday.
A win tonight will send Indiana to Madison Square Garden for the NIT Semifinals for the first time since finishing runner-up in the event in 1985.
