As of this morning, we still don't have an exact prognosis for Nojel Eastern's availability for tomorrow's second round game against Villanova. However, since he came back to play in last night's second half, you'd have to assume he's going to give it a go.
Eastern talked about his pregame ankle injury in the locker room last night. He called it a "sprain" that occurred after a "casual move". Here's what he had to say:
After getting treatment for the entire first half, Eastern returned to play after halftime, but was visibly affected by the ankle in just ten minutes on the court. Purdue will have a much tougher test in Round 2, with a vastly superior Villanova offense and backcourt, and will need their defensive stopper out there.
