Butler's bottom finish in the Big East made this regular season a disappointing one, but the good news for the Bulldogs is that they're still playing. They'll take on Nebraska in the NIT on Wednesday, which is a clash of worlds for Barry Collier, who coached at both schools.

The Butler Athletic Director talked about that matchup, the continued transition to the Big East, and the current state of the basketball program with us on today's show. He didn't mince words when talking about this season and LaVall Jordan's first two years. Here's a clip:

Obviously, Jordan isn't going to/was never going to lose his job after just one disappointing season, but with increased expectations comes increased pressure. Collier alluded to that while also backing his former point guard and his confidence in navigating the challenges that await.
