For a guy who was born and raised in Los Angeles after his parents moved from Cairo, you wouldn't think there would be a stop in Evansville, Indiana along the way.
However, UE's fantastic theatre program can now claim an Oscar winner: Rami Malek.
While I couldn't find many clips/articles on Malek discussing his time at Evansville, I was able to find this gem of a quote - which includes an Indy reference - about his first trip to the school (via the Evansville Courier & Press):
