So, essentially, the Pacers added a second round pick without giving up anything of value. This was merely a move by Houston to get out from under the luxury tax and they attached a pick to make it happen. Here’s a good synopsis from J. Michael of the IndyStar:
In a corresponding move, the Pacers also cut Ike Anigbogu. They’ll have one open roster spot available once the three players are officially waived.
