REPORT: Carmelo Spotted in Indy

The Pacers won’t have Victor Oladipo for the rest of the season, but could they be looking at squeezing whatever juice is left out of a former All-Star to partially replace him?

WISH-TV’s Charlie Clifford tweeted late Saturday night that Carmelo Anthony was having dinner downtown:

The expectation is that Anthony will be bought out by the Bulls (he could also be traded) and be free to choose his next team. He could’ve just randomly been in Indy, but considering his status and the Pacers’ current predicament, it’d be an awfully large coincidence.

The 34-year old has either been traded or bought out by five different teams in the last two years.

(Here’s a picture of one of Anthony’s other trips to Indianapolis!)
