Marcus Mariota is one of only four NFL quarterbacks to lead their teams to winning records in each of the last three seasons. However, in the Titans' biggest game of the year, his availability is still in question.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported late yesterday that Mariota will take the field tonight, but there's no telling whether he'll actually play:
If he's healthy enough to suit up, you'd think Mariota would give it a go, especially in a game of this magnitude, but he obviously wouldn’t be playing at 100%. If the oft-injured quarterback can't play four quarters (or at all), the Colts will have the luxury of drawing Blaine Gabbert under center. Gabbert, the former Jaguars bust, relieved Mariota in the blowout loss in Indianapolis last month and is 13-34 all-time as a starter.
9:32 AM UPDATE: Mariota is now expected NOT to play.
