Pacers Make Landmark Hire

Kelly Krauskopf has been with the Indiana Pacers organization for years on the Fever (WNBA) side. Now, she's making history on the NBA side.

Today, Krauskopf was hired as the first ever female assistant general manager in NBA history:

Krauskopf will now have touched all the tentacles of the Pacers' organization with 17 years as the President/GM of the Fever, overseeing and launching the new 2K League franchise Pacers Gaming last year, and assistant GM with the Pacers today.

A former college basketball star, Krauskopf built the Fever from scratch in 2003 into one of the WNBA's most respected franchises, with a title in 2013 and three total WNBA Finals appearances in the last ten years. Hopefully, she can have the same impact teaming with Kevin Pritchard & Co. in an already terrific Pacers' front office.
