Today is decision day for Jeff Brohm, and it's still tough to get a conclusive read on whether he's going to stay at Purdue or leave for Louisville.
For whatever it's worth, current Cardinals recruits are saying they're being told that he's coming...
...however, Brohm has been meeting with Purdue recruits this week and still has several visits scheduled:
What does this mean in either case? Probably not much. While Louisville AD Vince Tyra has been, uh, confident in their chances, Brohm has played this pretty close to the vest. Longtime Louisville columnist Rick Bozich said that Brohm is especially sensitive about word leaking to his players - outside of an erroneous report about an official press conference happening earlier this week, it's been pretty quiet - so it's not surprising that we haven't heard anything concrete.
My gut feeling is that Brohm succumbs to the pull of going home with his family, but I'm hopeful he remains at Purdue. The program is unquestionably in a better current position, in a more winnable division, and there is substantial momentum surrounding Purdue athletics in general.
