Obviously, you never want your team to get in a double-digit hole, but if they do, there haven't been many quarterbacks better than Andrew Luck at digging out of deficits.
Yesterday's 27-24 win over the Dolphins - a game which Indianapolis trailed 24-14 early in the fourth quarter - was the Colts' tenth win in the Luck era in a game they trailed by 10 or more points. I compiled the entire list, littered with games from his rookie and second year, after the game went final:
As Nat Newell of the IndyStar pointed out, it was Luck's 20th comeback victory (from any deficit) of his career:
There are some fun ones on that list, including the 2012 Packers game which is one of my all-time favorites, but this is not really a list you want to have to create. That said, winning a game where you didn't play close to your best - like what we saw yesterday against the Dolphins - is what good teams are able to do.
You can never count Luck's Colts out.
