Bell Names Colts As Possible Landing Spot

Le'Veon Bell says he wants to remain a Steeler but listed the Colts among the teams he thinks would be interested in him via free agency (along with the 49ers, Eagles, and Browns) in an ESPN report today.

Bell told ESPN he will play football this season and doesn't thin he'll be traded

à Bell told ESPN he will play football in 2018 - pointing to a return during the Steelers' bye week (Week 7) - and does not expect to be traded. That said, the report lists sources who claim that Pittsburgh is still open to listening to trade offers for the 26-year old All-Pro:

A trade in 2018 seems unlikely, but there's still a decent chance the Colts could lure him away this offseason. Instead of letting Bell become an unrestricted free agent, the Steelers could transition-tag Bell in 2019, which would give him the right to negotiate with other teams (similar to the NBA's restricted free agency) while Pittsburgh can choose to match any offer.
