Sunday should be an emotional return to Indianapolis for the Colts, who will honor the late Edwin Jackson during their AFC South opener against Houston. The team will wear "EJ" decals and also play a video tribute at some point during the game:
Jackson was killed in February in a tragic traffic accident involving a drunk driver. While he only spent three seasons in Indianapolis (2015-17), he was very popular in the locker room and his personality shined both on and off the field.
The memories of "Pound Cake" have poured in this week, including this heart-wrenching piece from his brother for The Players' Tribune...
...as well as this look by Zak Keefer of the IndyStar at Edwin's amazing family, and how the Colts and Chris Ballard reacted to the tragedy:
It'll be a moving tribute to a 26-year old who had a profound impact on the Colts' locker room and Indianapolis community, gone too soon.
