5 Quick Things: Colts-49ers

1) A sharper Luck

He couldn't have enjoyed scrambling as much as he did, but Luck's decision-making was terrific. He ran when he should've ran (and, most importantly, slid!) and looked much sharper with his throws than he did on Monday. The 8-for-10, 90-yard outing was by far the best of his preseason.

2) No Hiding Ebron

The Colts don't want to show what they think they have in their TE2, but Ebron's talent is obvious. The question is: can he be consistent? If so, the Colts should be able to squeeze a lot out of the former 10th overall pick.

3) Right Tackle is a Disaster

Austin Howard basically got dunked on and was immediately benched and Denzelle Good got hurt again. The Colts really don't have anyone who can play this spot competently and if Anthony Castonzo can't go in the opener, it's even more of a problem. They may have to add another body here after roster cuts.

4) Darius Leonard has a flaw!

He's been the best-looking rookie this preseason, who has been all over the field... but the second-round linebacker has no hands.

5) Jordan Wilkins Rolls With the 1's

I have absolutely no idea if Wilkins is going to pan out, but with Mack's uncertain health and Turbin's suspension, he's very likely Indy's RB1 come next Thursday. He didn't show a ton today, but at least the Colts recognize that he's a better option than Hines or <gulp> Michael.
