585 Days Later, Today is the Day!

Tonight, the long wait is over: Andrew Luck is slated to return to the football field.

It's been over 18 months - 585 days, to be exact - since Luck took an NFL snap, and that time period has been a rollercoaster for the Colts. They've fired their general manager (Ryan Grigson) and head coach (Chuck Pagano), been left at the altar by Josh McDaniels, been accused of misleading their fans with broad proclamations of Luck's 2017 return ("It might not be the Ram game..."), and watched the entire Scott Tolzien Era unfold (OK, that last one was like five minutes). Regardless, it'll be great to see Luck back under center tonight in Seattle.

Here's a brief list of things that have happened since Andrew Luck last took an NFL snap:

- Donald Trump's entire Presidency

- the first 18 months of my son's life

- Patriots win and lose a Super Bowl

- Ryan Grigson fired by the Colts, hired by the Browns, fired by the Browns, and hired by Seattle

- Doug McDermott joins five different NBA teams

- Butler defeats #1 Villanova, #2 Villanova, and #1 Villanova with two different head coaches

- Pacers change every member of their roster except Myles Turner and Thaddeus Young
