How Much Cap Space for Pacers?

The first big domino of the Pacers’ offseason fell yesterday, as Thad Young decided to exercise his player option ($13.7 million) to remain with the team for the 2018-19 season.

Obviously, Thad’s price tag gives Kevin Pritchard less money to spend on the open market, but how much do the Pacers have to throw around?

Here’s a look:

I don’t think there is any way the Pacers pick up the the team options on Al Jefferson or Joe Young. If they strikeout on others, there’s a possibility that Lance returns, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Robinson III is an interesting case, and could be had on the cheap, and they have until July 15th to cut Poythress if they need the roster spot.
