Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you're probably aware of the fact that Danica Patrick is returning to the Indianapolis 500 for the final race of her career. Patrick has been away from IndyCar for seven years, and has missed changes and growth (albeit slow) for the sport, notably a heightened talent/competition level.
She discussed yesterday falling out of relevance after becoming a back-marker in NASCAR.
Obviously, Danica has far more cache in open-wheel than NASCAR, but how much relevance does she still have? Have you moved on to others in the sport, notably ones who have had more on-track success? Leave your take on our Fox Sports 97.5 Facebook page.
