OTD: Jordan's Return at Market Square Arena

Michael Jordan's shocking first retirement came at the peak of his prime, but after only a season-and-a-half away from basketball His Airness made his triumphant return in Indianapolis:

MJ scored only 19 points, missing 21 of 28 shots in a 103-96 overtime loss to the Pacers. Reggie Miller led all scorers with 28 points.

Jordan's short-lived 45 was worn only through the completion of the 1994-95 regular season, and the Bulls eventually bowed out in the Eastern Conference Semifinals to Shaq, Penny, and the Magic. That was the same fate that eventually befell the Pacers - they finally got past the Knicks in an epic seven-game series, but couldn't get a win in Orlando.
