NFL.com went through NFL Shop data from the 2017 season (September through this current month) and added up jersey sales for each state. They came to a shocking conclusion: Tom Brady's jersey was the best seller in Indiana.
How is that be possible?
You get Brady sweeping the New England states, but Indiana? Not everyone in the state is a Colts fan, of course, but would Bears/Bengals fans be lining up for #12s?
All of the other states (Southeast for Julio Jones, Southwest for Dak, Plains for Theilen) are regionalized to a team in close proximity, so Indiana seems to be an outlier.
I wasn't trying to make you angry today... I was just shocked by these results.
