This is a very generic statement. Was he fired? Was his contract not renewed? Was this a product of the Browns' front office purge? I don't follow the Browns closely enough to know any of that.
Grigson had spent the 2017 season as a Senior Personnel Executive for Cleveland, and has eight seasons of NFL front office experience, so you'd think he'd land somewhere in some capacity. Honestly, we know he didn't do a good job here, but we don't wish him any ill will.
