Remember Clayton Geathers?
After a promising rookie year, the safety has dealt with serious injuries, playing just nine games since the start of the 2016 season and starting this season on the PUP list. However, the Colts can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel for Geathers:
Geathers would add some depth on a banged-up and young defensive secondary. Matthias Farley has filled in well and proven himself as a competent starter, while veteran Darius Butler has made a smooth transition to safety.
Geathers was one of the few defensive draftees of Ryan Grigson to show any potential at all, so we hope to see him back on the field soon.
