Chuck Pagano consoles players when they make critical mistakes. Then, he defends them in his cliche-riddled press conferences. That's not how Ben McAdoo does business.
McAdoo had no problem criticizing his two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback for a Delay of Game gaffe in last night's 24-10 loss to the Lions:
I'm not saying that Pagano should burn his players every week, but when they make inexcusable mistakes, he should be comfortable pointing out their inexcusable mistake. A coach should own his gaffes - which, to be fair, Pagano seems to do consistently - while not shielding his players from the same criticism, if they deserve it.
There needs to be accountability in that Colts' locker room.
