Jackson Anthrop is the latest in a long line of Anthrops to play at Purdue. His father, John, playedon Purdue's 1980 Final Four hoops team, and rothers Dru (basketball) and Danny (football) were both athletes in West Lafayette as well, but the under-recruited Jackson almost wasn't.
When he joined us on the show today, he told Query and me that Purdue was his only Division I offer. In fact, the only other team even interested with Marian of the NAIA. The good news for Jackson? He's getting a chance to play right away as a redshirt freshman. The wide receiver caught a pair of touchdown passes in the Boilers' hard-fought loss to #16 Louisville last week, and joined us on today's show to discuss his path to Purdue. Take a listen:
