The outcome of a preseason game is virtually meaningless, although the Colts did find a way to win in Pittsburgh last night. What you hope for is that no key players get hurt, and unfortunately for Indianapolis, they were unable to escape unscathed.
CB Vontae Davis left the game with a groin injury:
The severity of the injury is unknown, but with the season starting two weeks from today, you'd have to assume we won't see Davis in the preseason finale on Thursday. Considering the Colts inexperience at corner, Davis is obviously a guy they absolutely can't afford to lose.
He will get re-evaluated today, and we'll see if we get an update from the Colts.
