The place that hosted Gretzky's first pro game, Elvis's last concert, and many other unforgettable moments, was imploded sixteen years ago yesterday. RTV6 posted the video from 2001:
I didn't move to Indiana until a month later - August of 2001, when I started my first semester at IU - so I never got to experience MSA. But, from watching all of those great Pacers-Knicks battles in the 1990s, you could almost feel the place shake through the television.
Although Banker's Life Fieldhouse is a tremendous facility, MSA will always be missed.
