Did LeBron Make the Right Play?

LeBron James led all scorers with 39 points and was a rebound away from a triple-double, but he and his Cavaliers completely folded down the stretch in last night's series-ending (it's over) loss to Golden State.

In the aftermath of the defeat, many are questioning why the four-time MVP passed to Kyle Korver with the game on the line in the final minute. Here's a screenshot of the play:

Korver, despite being open, missed the shot, and Kevin Durant's three-pointer on the ensuing possession was the final dagger.

Although they collapsed, I have a lot of trouble burying LeBron for making the right basketball play at the end of a 39-point performance against an absolute juggernaut. Here's a stat that tells the real story of last night's game:

The best player in the league, who is having the best statistical NBA Finals of his life, is completely and totally helpless against this Warriors supernova. Instead of LeBron "killer instinct" narratives and constant, tied comparisons to Michael Jordan, the previous sentence is what I'll take away from this series.
