Despite another action-filled Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, the race's TV numbers slid. The 500 did a 3.6 overnight rating, down from the 4.1 garnered by the historic 100th running in 2016.
The 3.6 rating is the lowest rating in race history.
Unsurprisingly, Indianapolis itself was unable to replicate last year's monster 33.6 rating when the race was broadcast live. This year's replay, which aired in the traditional spot of 7 PM, drew a 14.7.
