Purdue's entire 2014 recruiting class will be back for one final hurrah in West Lafayette. That news now official after Vincent Edwards, their second-leading scorer last season, decided to return for his senior season:
Caleb Swanigan will have until 11:59 PM tonight to decide his pro fate, but regardless, the Boilermakers will have four senior starters on next year's team.
As for Indiana, they freed up a scholarship after granting a release to little-used guard Grant Gelon:
Gelon, a sharpshooter from Crown Point, was viewed as a reach by Tom Crean and the previous staff in last year's recruiting class. He had no other high major offers, and was considered a project.
That leaves Archie Miller with an open spot on his 2017-18 roster, should he choose to fill it.
