The Pacers are back to .500 after last night's home loss to the slumping Knicks, and it has us wondering: is it time to give up on this team ever being more than who they are?
The Pacers are past the halfway point of the season and are the #7 seed in the East. They're just one game from falling out of the playoffs entirely. While the middle of the conference is really jumbled, the Pacers haven't shown they can beat the upper-echelon teams like Cleveland, Toronto, Boston, and Atlanta.
The 22-22 Pacers still have a soft finish in January, but things really ramp up in February. Indiana plays the Cavs (twice), Thunder, Rockets, and Spurs as part of next month's slate.
