Duke Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Jon Scheyer joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show after his Blue Devils advanced to the Final Four. He talks about what it has been like following legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski and the different challenges he faces with N.I.L. and the transfer portal. And he admits it would be a dream to think Cooper Flagg might return for another year at school instead of becoming the consensus #1 pick in the upcoming NBA Draft.
Dan Patrick: “Have you had the conversation with Cooper Flagg about coming back?”
Jon Scheyer: “No [laughter].”
Dan: “[Laughter] OK.”
Jon: “No.”
Dan: “Is there going to be a conversation?”
Jon: “No.”
Dan: “OK [laughter].”
Jon: “Although I can dream about that but...”
Dan: “Yes, you can. I just, you know..”
Jon: “I think that’s all it is in this case; I think it’s a dream. And I think he’s got to take the next dream in his life and be the top pick in the NBA Draft and start his professional career.”
