20 plus year pilot Harrison Ford will not face disciplinary action from the FAA after landing his plane on the taxiway instead of the runway... a MAJOR NO NO! As you can see from the photos below, it was a little to close for comfort for everyone, including the passengers of the 737 he buzzed!
The FAA cited Fords spotless aviation record and willingness to cooperate as reasons for - looking the other way - on this one.
Myself, a pilot of over 20 years, I have to believe had I landed on the taxiway at a major airport, the FAA would not be so forgiving. But I don't have Hans Solo money either! - Don Stuck
