Tom Allen Gets Massive Contract Extension

Indiana has clinched their first winning season since 2007 and their first winning Big Ten season since 1993, so that's earned Tom Allen a substantial pay raise.

The third-year IU head coach agreed to a seven-year deal this morning to remain in Bloomington:

The contract doubles his annual salary ($1.8M to $3.9M) and is worth over $27 million over the life of the deal. It also includes a $500,000 bump to pay his coaching staff, bonuses for things like Bowl game appearances, and a full guarantee for the first three years.
