In an interesting move, the Colts took a flier on a former All-American who ran for over 2,000 yards in his final collegiate season... and they grabbed him off waivers from a division rival:
The former Texas star, who was a third-round pick of the Texans in 2017, did play fairly regularly as a rookie, appearing in ten games and rushing for 327 yards (three touchdowns). However, a torn Achilles cost him the rest of that season and most of 2018, where he only appeared in one game.
Foreman did work his way out of Houston by routinely being late for meetings and not contributing on special teams. That, ultimately, led to his release over the weekend and the Colts quickly acted.
