Jason Whitlock Blasts ESPN Football Announcer For Making Anti-Police Tweets

Clay Travis: “Mark Jones said he would no longer accept a police escort to call college football games because he was afraid that the police officer might shoot him because he was black. When you saw that your thought was what?”

Jason Whitlock: “I say this is all seriousness… I thought this guy has been radicalized by social media and by Twitter in particular, and by this whole ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement and that he needs help, and that this is a cry for help… The whole ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement is a race-bait cult and they have clearly radicalized Mark Jones. If ESPN truly cared about him, or somebody in his family cared about, they would be getting this guy some help. He needs to be on a couch talking to a therapist and talking through these issues. Get him off Twitter promoting this type of stupidity and insanity like ‘OMG, the police could kill me while escorting me to call a football game!’ This has just never happened in the history of broadcasting. I’m not aware of any announcers being assassinated by a police escort. This is a level of delusion that’s scary.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Jason Whitlock join Outkick the Coverage with Clay Travis to discuss ESPN college football announcer Mark Jones’ recent anti-police tweets, as Jones went viral on Twitter last week for proclaiming that he will no longer accept a police escort to football games he’s calling because he’s afraid the escorting officers will shoot him for being Black.

Check out the segment above as Whitlock blasts Jones for being ‘radicalized by social media and the Black Lives Matter movement’, and says Jones needs to seek help for a ‘level of delusion that’s scary.’
